Fry's Foods

From piggeries to veggies, this is our story...

This short film tells the story of Wally Fry, the founder of Fry's food. It follows his life from a young boy growing up on a sugarcane farm in rural Zululand through to his life as a young man raising a family and then ultimately his evolution into vegetarianism and the creation of Fry's foods.

It was a great opportunity for me as I wrote and directed this film with the help of a few friends: Louis De Clercq, Jurgen Allan and Jess Henson. I had a wonderful team behind me, DOP: Luke Ochse, Producer: Jess Schipper, Art Director: Nicci Lubbe, to name but a few.
