Dhamma Threads - Sowing the seeds of love

Dhamma Threads is a conscious clothing brand that spreads the seeds of love through powerful words of wisdom. Inspired by the teachings of Buddha and the ascended masters, our t-shirts are designed to promote self-mastery, morality, and wisdom.

We believe that the fabric of our clothing is a symbol of the fabric of reality, and we imbue each garment with pure intention - love, compassion, and goodwill - to resonate with the wearer and spread into the world. Our shirts are more than just clothing; they are seeds to grow, sparks to light the way, and breadcrumbs to nourish you on your path.

We use sustainable and eco-friendly materials, including organic cotton, bamboo, and hemp, and are committed to ethical production practices. Our goal is to create clothing that aligns with our personal values and promotes positive change in the world.

Our target audience includes spiritual seekers, eco-conscious consumers, and anyone interested in mindfulness, meditation, and personal growth. Our brand tone is warm, friendly, and authentic, reflecting our values of love, compassion, and mindfulness.

We believe that by sowing the seeds of love, we can make a positive impact on the world and inspire others to do the same.

What I'm doing Now

I’m on a mission to build a dhow and sail it north along the old Swahili trade routes to India. I’ll be based on Lamu Island for the next two to three years, learning from the local craftsmen (fundi) how to build a dhow. And then learning how to sail it across the Indian ocean. I’m calling the project Bahari (my son’s second name and also Swahili for Ocean) and making a film/series about it with weekly updates on Youtube.

Utamaduni the dhow on a moon lit night. Ali making us fish and chips on the fire.
